Program Space Rental Information

The following provides information about renting program space at the Contemplative Education Center and housing options for program leaders and participants. For more information about the future vision of the CEC campus, please visit 'Contemplative Education Center (CEC).' Mahalo.


Contemplative Education Center

Two indoor spaces within the Contemplative Education Center (CEC) campus at New Moon Foundation are currently available for a limited time to host daytime programs that have an alignment with NMF's mission and values.  The entire campus facility is due to be completed in 2010. In their current condition, the two spaces offer ample interior space for large and small group meetings, presentations and contemplative programs.  The landscaped grounds at the campus are included for complimentary program activities such as meditative walks, exercise, and break-out sessions. Rental of Program Space at the CEC Campus includes these features:

Halawa House

The Halawa House is available for short term rental to New Moon Foundation guests, program facilitators and participants. The house is located about a 10-minute drive from the New Moon Foundation offices and Contemplative Education Center (CEC). This 2-story home can sleep up to 14 people and includes 5 bedrooms downstairs with 2 single beds in each room, and a large open-plan loft upstairs with one single bed and several sleeping mats. The house rents for $400 a day with a 3-night minimum. Rental of the Halawa House includes these features:

  • Beautiful outdoor areas with a large yard, gardens and stream
  • 30-minute hiking trail to the ocean
  • Secluded, quiet and intimate
  • Fully furnished
  • Large open-plan living room, dining and kitchen areas
  • Covered and screened outdoor lanai with a dining table
  • 5 bedrooms downstairs, large loft upstairs
  • Washer/Dryer
  • Several bathrooms, including a large jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom
  • Parking for Halawa House guests
